Queensland sporting legends Natalie Cook, Petero Civoniceva and other members of the Former Origin Greats (FOGS) will hit the sand on Sunday 23 February, joining forces for the 2014 Battle Against Ovarian Cancer presented by Lexus of Brisbane at Sandstorm Beach Club, Nathan.

The 2014 beach volleyball tournament, which is now calling for registrations, aims to raise money for Cherish Women’s Cancer Foundation which aims to transform gynaecological cancer research in Australia and improve outcomes for women and families fighting the battle.

Individuals are encouraged to organise a team of five colleagues, peers, family or friends and pledge a donation of at least $550 to secure a spot on court ahead of Ovarian Cancer Awareness month (February 2014).

The Former Origin Greats will play an exhibition match at approximately 11.45am.

Registrations close Wednesday 19th February.
