Garden City is thrilled to announce they will be hosting their first ever home open in the Centre’s Fashion Mall from April 22nd until May 3rd in a bid to support Cystic Fibrosis.

The stunning home features key characteristics including pristine chandeliers made from Swarovski crystals, and antique hand crafted furniture sourced from countries around the world.

The house, named April’s Manor, stands just over 2ft tall, and forms a magnificent hand constructed Doll’s House with detail second to none.

April’s Manor has been named after a 12 year old girl called April who has the life threatening condition, Cystic Fibrosis. Family friends of April, Adrienne Hartley, and husband Rob embarked on a journey to create the master piece in hope they could use it to build awareness of April’s condition.

Garden City Shopping Centre Marketing Manager, Clare Riley said “We are so glad to be able to share such an incredible display of handiwork with our customers. The craftsmanship is impeccable and we encourage customers to come down with their children to view the beautiful doll house.

“It is not difficult to see how much time and effort has gone into the construction, and all for such a worthwhile cause”, added Mrs Riley.

April has assisted with the creation, focusing on the painting, wallpapering and flooring. One parquetry floor took April over 15 hours to lay, with the entire manor built and decorated across more than 2000 hours.

The manor is estimated to be worth over $8000 and can be viewed for a gold coin donation at Garden City Shopping Centre. All donations will go towards the Cystic Fibrosis WA.
