Andrew Rayel

He’s the modern day Mozart, today’s leading talent in the ever-growing trance scene. He’s the pride of Moldova, known for his unique and very own sound. He is Andrei Rata, better known as Andrew Rayel. Often called ‘the new Armin van Buuren’, it’s no surprise that Andrew indeed found the support of the man himself. Having the number one DJ supporting his tracks on the world famous A State of Trance radio show has ever been a dream of Andrew. And sometimes, dreams come true. His tracks ‘550 Senta’, ‘How Do I Know’ ft. Jano, ‘Aeon of Revenge’, ‘Aether’, ‘Deflagration’, ‘Musa’ and ‘Zeus’ all made it to the show, often voted Tune of the Week and Future Favourite. The trance scene embraced Andrew’s refreshing sound, giving him a very warm welcome.

His tracks found a solid home on the A State of Trance and Armin labels, both part of the Armada Music family. Impressed by his originals, it didn’t take long until the Rayel sound became hot property for remixes. And so, Andrew was lucky enough to handle remix duties for tracks by Armin van Buuren, Markus Schulz, Dash Berlin, Tiësto, W&W, Zedd, Bobina, Tenishia and many more. Earning the support of the DJ elite, the Rayel sound has spread all across the globe, from the underground clubs to the mainstream festivals.

Same goes for the highly anticipated Andrew Rayel debut album. Set for release on Armada Music, trance land eagerly holds their breath, craving more of Andrew’s magic dancing dust. A little pre-taste of what’s to come, is Andrew’s very first and official compilation: ‘Mystery of Aether’. Out on Armada Music in early September 2013, it’s Rayel doing what he does best. He moves us. Be sure not to miss Andrew Rayel in this intimate and intense club performance on the Metro City stage.

Jorn van Deynhoven

Jorn van Deynhoven, aka JvD, hails from Holland and is one of the hottest names in trance in 2014. Following an amazing run of releases that has seen him remix the likes of Armin van Buuren and Dash Berlin in recent months, arguably his biggest production accolade to date came when his ‘New Horizons’ track was voted as the official anthem for A State Of Trance 650. When Armin van Buuren’s ‘A State Of Trance’ brand wanted an anthem to be produced for their landmark 650th Episode and World Tour, they called upon trance producers from around the globe to pitch in with their tracks. After Jorn’s recent run of form in the studio, it was no surprise that his offering was shortlisted as one of the finalists, and he then won a worldwide public vote from the trance and wider dance music community, beating off some fierce competition from the likes of Andrew Rayel and MaRLo in the process. ‘New Horizons’ has all the hallmarks of a timeless anthem, combining Jorn’s distinctive driving groove, classic melodies and arranged into a dramatic composition.

MaRLo

People can’t get enough of MaRLo at Metro City, and neither canwe! After brining the house down on New Years Eve and our February “EDM Prime”, MaRLo joins his fellow Armada Music artists in a show not to be missed.

In the past 6 months alone, MaRLo has had a #1 beatport hit with "The Island", remixed Ferry Corsten for the second time, had 5 top 10 tracks, mixed the Ministry of Sound Trance Nation vol 3 compilation for the second year in a row AND launched a monthly radio show. Add some international gigs to that already impressive list and it is clear that there really is no stopping the busy Dutch born, Aussie resident as he makes his way to trance DJ superstardom.
