Opera in the Park is a perfect opportunity for families to experience the magic of opera while relaxing in the park. The City of Perth has presented Opera in the Park for over two decades as an annual free gift to the people of Perth. With the support of Lotterywest the event is also broadcast to regional centres in Western Australia.

Join us for one of the most dramatic and compelling stories in opera with the diva Tosca, her lover the artist Cavaradossi and the evil chief of police Baron Scarpia. Set against the backdrop of Perth’s beautiful skyline Tosca will entertain you, your family and friends with a heart stopping plot, soaring arias and emotionally charged melodies.

Starring Anke Höppner as Tosca, Angus Wood as Cavaradossi, Douglas McNicol as Scarpia and Andrew Collis as Angelotti.

West Australian Opera Chorus
West Australian Symphony Orchestra

Sung in Italian with English surtitle
