In 2013 Ensemble in Residence at Queensland Conservatorium – Clocked Out embarked on a six-month research trip, which took them to 53 locations in three continents. Dingo Kisses is their response.

Using a suitably impoverished sound world that incorporates found objects, field recordings, and toys alongside a grand piano and percussion, Vanessa Tomlinson and Erik Griswold present their warped grooves and timbral flair, affected by desert landscapes, lonely roads, and permanent transit. This is the world premiere of one of Australia’s most important and eclectic musical ensembles.

Clocked Out have produced some of Australia’s most innovative contemporary music and interarts projects. Through their varied collaborations they have sought to bring together musicians, performers, artists and audiences from diverse backgrounds. By following their creativity to unexpected places, their work has explored the boundaries between musical styles and artistic disciplines.
