Use your mobile phone to ignite light waves across an installation of 400 small lights at the Australian premiere of Constell-action, an interactive light installation at Fed Square from 13 - 21 February, 8.30pm - 11.30pm.

The dazzling display of blinking lights, by Polish new media artists panGenerator is made up of 400 small, light-sensitive tetrahedrons. Shine the light from a mobile phone on one tetrahedron and it will flash, which will then ignite nearby tetrahedrons creating a mesmerising light wave. Move the tetrahedrons around to form shapes and light up one or many.

The artists will be on site to guide the public each night.

Constell-action is commissioned by Fed Square’s Creative Program and is showing as part of Pause Fest 2014.
