Following sell out seasons and standing ovations across Australia, Europe and the UK, ThisSideUp acrobatics bring their audacious heart stopping circus spectacular back home to Australia.

This eye-popping and graceful show comes wrapped in the concept that mad Professor Archimedes is conducting an experiment into the limits of physicality in his 1930s workshop. He uses both human subjects and tiny figurines to work out the algebra of movement.

Impulsive energy and intricate action combine to create a thrilling experiment in control, as these dangerously talented and fearlessly curious acrobats challenge the extremes of their physical ability and effortlessly perform astounding acrobatic feats.

A group hand balancing act requiring phenomenal strength and stamina, a fast paced tumbling spectacle, the height and thrill of the Russian bar, the grace and beauty of Roue Cyr (wheel) and the child like nature of teeterboard all work in unison to create Controlled Falling Project.

Developed in collaboration with highly respected Australian circus director and founding member of Circus OZ, Robin Laurie, Controlled Falling Project is a high energy combination of theatre, circus, clowning, puppetry, dance, and percussion that is suitable for all ages and backgrounds.

‘Controlled Falling Project is a boisterous and beautiful exploration of the extraordinary heights the human body can reach.’ - Buzz Cuts

‘Quirky and physical, majestic and muscular, the act is daring…using raw strength, acrobatic displays and a smattering of humour…’ - Citysearch
