From music and dance to craft and cuisine, Darling Harbour Culture Beats will continue to celebrate Australia's cultural diversity this December with two Free festivals at Tumbalong Park.

On Sunday 7 December from 11.00am-6.00pm, visitors to Darling Harbour can experience a Polish Christmas right here in Sydney. The Polish Christmas Community Festival is a highlight of the Darling Harbour Culture Beats program and also a feature of Darling Harbour Santa Fest 2014!

The festival will include live music performed by Polish folk bands, dancers in full traditional dress and market stalls filled with unique Polish crafts. A selection of Poland's most popular cuisine will also be offered including pierogi (Polish dumplings), kielbasa (sausage) and placki (potato pancakes).

Darling Harbour Culture Beats will also delve into the ancient world of Japan, from 10.00am-7.30pm on Saturday 13 December. Tumbalong Park will come alive with actors twirling red umbrellas and elegant kimono-clad ladies demurely pouring cups of tea in a setting of tranquil cherry-blossomed temples. The Japanese Festival will also offer live karate and sumo demonstrations, folk music, dance and taiko drumming to-boot.
