On Saturday June 14, Garden City Shopping Centre will launch a special pop up dragon play zone to make shopping a magical experience for junior shoppers!

The pop up dragon play zone located in the Homewares Mall, next to Cotton On Kids will be open daily during centre trading hours. The play zone will include a variety of fun dragon themed activities to promote a magical playtime experience.

Fun sized customers will be captivated by the fantasy themed play zone that includes giant building blocks, magnetic dragon designing, dragon paper mazes and much more.

The enchantment doesn’t stop there, the pop up dragon play zone will also include a Viking mask colouring corner and special dragon reading zone. Plus the area will host a realm close by so our adult visitors can watch their little ones explore and play whilst recharging with a take away coffee.

The Play Zone will open in the lead up to Garden City receiving a special guest, Toothless from DreamWorks’ motion picture ‘How To Train Your Dragon 2’. Toothless will be in Centre from July 7th until July 20th visiting customers from 11am-2pm daily.

Garden City Marketing Manager Clare Riley is excited to announce the pop up dragon play zone, she said “The play zone aims to provide a welcome platform for entertainment and stimulation for children plus allow Mum or Dad to relax and take a quick break from their normal shopping routine.

“We love to provide customers with a fun shopping experience, and the introduction of our dragon play zone will make for a really exciting, welcome addition to Garden City in coming weeks”.
