Moda Production & Events are pleased to announce Dream Come True, a celebration of dance and music under the stars in Federation Square, bringing together Korean and Australian cultures in Melbourne’s first ever K-Pop Cover Dance Competition.

Over the past decade, there has been a considerable increase in the popularity of South Korean culture in what has come to be known as the Korean Wave or Hallyu (‘the flow and spread of Korea’). Following the roaring success of ‘Gangnam Style’ by South Korean musician, Psy, the K-Pop genre has been embraced all over the world.

K-Pop cover dance is a performance by amateur dancers who mimic the choreographed routines of professional K-Pop stars. Dream Come True celebrates the current craze for Korean pop culture, with a local twist.
The event will feature performances from local artists as well as special guest K-Pop artists from Korea.

Melbourne’s K-Pop fans will have the opportunity to show off their most stylish dance moves on the main stage at Federation Square and compete to win prizes!

Dream Come True is a colourful celebration of the art of dance and K-Pop music, offering an experience that is fun and entertaining, while promoting health and fitness in the community and inviting a fruitful cultural exchange between Korea and Australia.

So bring your family and friends and join us for an evening of K-Pop entertainment under the stars!
