Presented by the makers themselves and supported by Tasmania's world famous seafood and artisan food producers, this will be a Tasting experience like no other. Effervescence is the consumers' opportunity to try some of Tasmania's best sparkling wines and learn how and why; any discussion of new world sparkling wine, the focus is immediately on Tasmania.

The inaugural “Effervescence” Sparkling Spring Weekend is to take place on Friday 31st October and Saturday 1st of November 2014. It serves as a celebration to the world class sparkling wines emanating from the Island Sate.

Tasmania produces less than 0.5% of the National Crush but its International reputation and quality ensures it commands the highest price per tonne of fruit in Australia. With Tasmanian varieties and styles a must on any wine list, many mainland wineries are sourcing fruit from Tasmania. Demand now exceeds supply and Tasmania's cool climate is a hot commodity. Joins us to see why!
