Brisbane indie-pop group Friends Of Ben are proud to release their debut EP “All I Am Sure Of Is All That I See”. The three-piece (who have been known to morph into a six piece) are celebrating with a launch gig at The New Globe Theatre on Friday May 23.

Friends Of Ben will be supported by jazz melancholics Big Dead and folk songwriter Naomi Sunderland. Doors open at 7:30pm and tickets at the venue will be $10 per person. Tickets are also available online for either $10 on their own, or $15 which lands buyers a copy of the EP on the night. This deal is only accessible through the Ticketbooth event page.

“All I Am Sure Of Is All That I See” is a labour of love that is two years in the making. Ambient and driven music support thought provoking lyrics that “make you FEEL,” according to singer Rory Dawson. There’s no escaping the emotional grounding of the vocals, nor the heartfelt connection the band forms with the listener.

“It’s positively emotional, well mixed and there is not a single thing you won’t like about it.” (Stereofox – on “Summer”)

The evocative five track EP will feature the upbeat and eclectic “Summer”, which brought the band onto the scene as practised songwriters and adept performers. A karaoke video for the song was published at the end of last year.

Friends Of Ben are Rory Dawson (vocals/guitar/keys), Aled Humphrys (bass/keys) and percussionist Damian Danaher. Their mission is simple: to create intelligent and emotional pop songs that you should listen to.
Hear them achieve this goal with “All I Am Sure Of Is All That I See”.
