To celebrate the Commonwealth Bank Test Series coming to Melbourne on Boxing Day and to kick start the school holidays, Cricket Australia will be hosting Cricket’s Family Day at the ‘G on Tuesday 23rd December between 10.30am – 2.30pm.

Families can look forward to a day filled with cricket fun at the Melbourne Cricket Ground, including watching members of the Australian and Indian teams train and even having the chance to meet their cricket heroes!

Cricket’s Family Day at the ‘G will also feature a variety of entertaining free activities including carnival rides, MILO in2CRICKETgames and MILO T20 Blast activities, while roving entertainers will be set up on the MCG external concourse, outside gates 1, 2 and 3. Fans will also have the opportunity to have a photo taken with the ICC Cricket World Cup trophy, located at the Outfield outside Gate 3 of the MCG.

To top off a day of cricketing excitement, those who attend will have the opportunity to explore the cricket viewing rooms and to sit in the same seats as the Australian cricketers do during a match!

Family Day at the G’ is an event not to be missed by cricket fans big or small!

Please note: Those wanting to view in stadium training are advised to enter through Gate 1 and Gate 3. Access to view training inside the venue will close at 1.00pm. Training by both teams is subject to change and may not occur as stated.

The Commonwealth Bank Southern Stars will be on stage from 11am. Members of the Australian and Indian Test squads will be on stage from 1pm.

Parking: Limited parking available at Gate 5 of Yarra Park (entry via Punt Road). Parking will cost $10
