Glamping with Bobby and the Pins

Pack the hair rollers and nail varnish because you are invited to go Glamping with barbershop quartet Bobby and the Pins this Melbourne Fringe. These four vintage gals are setting up glamp at Melbourne Fringe Festival hub venue, The Lithuanian Club, in the big ol' Ballroom.

Glamping is the hippest new way to describe glamorous camping: where one is able to maintain the normal level of decorum one is used to, regardless of the outdoor location. Will these four 1950s ladies be able to keep their pin curls bouncy and their stockings in good order? This show is an absolute must-see for all considering going glamping in the future.

After a sell-out July (2014) season at The Butterfly Club, this 1950s barbershop quartet is back by popular campsite demand. Best described as a cross between The Andrews Sisters and I Love Lucy, Bobby and the Pins’ latest show will be a light-hearted highlight of the 2014 Fringe.

Glamping audiences can expect quality four part harmonies, classic 1950s music re-worked, divine costumes, hilariously cheesy 1950s humour, silly choreography, glamour dilemmas and the odd (tent) erection joke.
