Two young children, Freddie and Evelyn James, aged five and seven, were orphaned when their mum, Danielle, was killed in a horrific car crash in Bundaberg six weeks ago.
Just two years earlier, their dad had lost his battle with leukaemia.
The devastated youngsters would be destined for a life in foster care, were it not for their grandparents, Alice and (Hot Bread) Fred Hartelman.
But fulltime care of the children comes at a cost. Pilotlight Productions are appealing to the public to dig deep and help support the family.

Donations of money can be deposited into the Hartelman Trust Account at the ANZ Bank.
Donations of goods and pledges of services for the Hartelman Family can be delivered to Pilotlight Radio, 94 Churchill St, Childers, or you can call 0417 930 579.
Donations of goods or vouchers for services for raffles will also be gratefully accepted.

The fundraising concert is at 2pm, Sunday, 18th May, 2014, at Isis Cultural Centre, 49 Churchill St, Childers. Tickets at the door: Adult $10; Children $5.
