Presenting the best films and artwork from around the world, the Human Rights Arts & Film Festival (HRAFF) will challenge, touch and inspire audiences from all walks of life. For a fortnight in Melbourne, and three weeks across Australia, HRAFF presents a selection of contemporary cinema, music, fine art and panel discussions featuring international and national guests.

This year, there are three films travelling to Brisbane!

'Rich Hill' follows three boys in small-town America, navigating their way through adolescence, dealing with poverty, broken families and mental illness. Although they’re forced to make heart-breaking decisions, moments of joy punctuate their daily struggles in this exceptionally beautiful, rare and moving film that offers hope in a far too familiar tale of neglect and desperation.

Catch HRAFF in Brisbane at the Brisbane Powerhouse from 3-5 June, and experience a selection of award-winning films that creatively consider human rights.

To view our full program or to buy tickets, visit our website (http://hraff.org.au/program?location=interstate#brisbane), or follow HRAFF on Facebook or Twitter.

“Film and the arts have so much power to influence the way we see the world, to heighten our awareness of the plight of those in our community and in the world community.” Margaret Pomeranz, HRAFF Patron
