Imaging Australia in Black and White: Newspaper Illustration 1880 - 1940

A collection of fifty black-and-white illustrations by twenty influential artists for popular media between 1880 and 1940. This remarkable collection was accumulated by talented Bulletin artist Herbert Moffitt, whose bohemian circle included many of those who helped define a sense of national identity.

This touring exhibition is supported by the Royal Historical Society, and is curated by Dr Janine Sager.
