Nicolette Minster proudly brings you, as a part of the 2014 Melbourne Fringe Festival:
Inanimately.
When having “safe sex” means avoiding splinters.
Objectum Sexuality; an emotional and romantic desire towards developing relationships with inanimate objects.
Objectum Sexuals have strong feelings of attraction, love, and commitment to certain items, or structures.
So, basically, they have sex with inanimate objects. They flirt with bridges, and get hitched to landmarks. Nicolette has been seeing her security blanket for almost 30 years. Could this be the gateway to becoming Mrs Bolte Bridge?
A self-professed over sharer, Nicolette Minster invites you to join her as she explores her new obsession; the wild world of Objectum Sexuals. Naturally, she has her own secret love.
Inanimately comes complete with the Eiffel Tower, female pro-boxing, a naughty choose-your-own adventure book, love song dedications, and plenty of affection for anything that lacks a pulse.
It’s lewd, late night laughter served hot during the 2014 Melbourne Fringe Festival, so grab a swing set and the closest piece of public art, and join us for this premiere season!
“If I learnt anything about the world during Nicolette Minster’s performance... I learnt this: I am not alone.” - Aphramag
