More photos are taken by smartphones and tablets now than by all the world’s point and shoot cameras combined – after all, the best camera is the one you have with you right?
This workshop will help you take these quick snaps to an amazing new level by showing you a series of simple creative steps you can take using free apps. While this is an incredibly pleasurable process in itself – you might also just end up with photo editing skills that can benefit your business or blog as well.
This session is suitable for users of iOS or Android devices.

What will we cover?
- Tips on taking great mobile phone images using grids, exposure lock and tap to focus
- Skills in using free apps for image balancing, cropping, re-touching and framing
- Applying filters and textures for further enhancement
- Using FX and text apps to create a story with your image
- Tips on sharing and growing an audience.

Who will be teaching?
Jonathan Nalder has been an app-noxious so and so ever since the first iPhone came out - especially where photography apps are concerned. Perhaps the best way to find out more about how Jonathan loves to capture the Australian landscape differently is to view his Instagram or Flickr accounts. You can also learn more about Jonathan’s education and technology support offerings at
