Originally from Warrnambool and now calling Melbourne home, Jackson McLaren will be launching his debut album SONGS TO GREET THE DAWN with The Triple Threat on a June tour taking in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Adelaide.

SONGS TO GREET THE DAWN, produced by John Castle (Vance Joy, Josh Pyke, Washington, Gossling), was released earlier this month and maps the development of one of Australia’s most exciting young songwriters.

The album features the driving single ‘Here’s a Memory’ – a jubilant celebration of escape and experience that could show Of Monsters And Men a thing or two about how to do big folk-rock crescendos – and the haunting single ‘Some of My Friends’, a waltz-time tribute to the way life changes us all, driven by an insistent fiddle and a melody Mumford & Sons would have killed for.
