The John Montesante Quintet is a stylish, horn-led combo formed in 1990 by Jazz Trumpet, Arranger and Composer, John Montesante. The regular line-up is Dean Cooper (drums), Michael Harding (piano), Tony Hicks ( saxophones), Ben Robertson (double bass), John Montesante (trumpet/flugelhorn).
Influenced by bebop, the band offers a modern take on standards as well as John Montesante's special jazz arrangements. The John Montesante Quintet has gained respect in the discerning jazz scene due to its quality musicianship, versatility, entertainment value and ability to perform with any outstanding vocal and musical artists from in or out of town.
The John Montesante Quintet showcases the finest artists, performing outstanding jazz and provides top class entertainment value as well. This evening's guest artist at The Commune is sassy and versatile jazz singer, Tamara Kuldin, and a wonderful evening is assured.
Although there is no cover charge, a minimum food spend of $20pp is required
