The year is 2003; tracksuit clad schoolboy Johnny Pav skips class to confront the 'new kid', who is laying claim to his title of resident lunchtime guitarist. The ‘new kid’ is none other than Tim J. Quinton. Their first interaction, though much anticipated, takes place behind closed doors with instruments at the ready. Johnny Pav and Northern NSW expat, Tim J. Quinton, spent the next three years writing, travelling and playing music together before forming their own groups and separate musical projects. Fast forward to present day and fate finds both artists back on the road together, guitars in hand.
Johnny Pav has the ability to conjure an intimate environment at will, where easy listening is inevitable. The onstage chatterbox has a laid-back style with a quirkiness to him that is personable and spontaneous. His debut EP, “European Sun” (2013), displays his abilities as a producer as well as a performer. The lead single from the EP, “Run/Stay”, has been aired on various community radio stations around Australia including 4ZZZ, PBS, 2RRR and Triple J; capturing the attention of music placement firms in the meantime.

For the first time in almost 10 years, Johnny Pav and Tim J. Quinton collaborate in a live format. When these two established artists come together they are sure to deliver a performance high in quality and rich in variety. What they have in store is; a lively duet of acoustic guitars coupled with vocal harmonies reminiscent of Simon and Garfunkel.
