Prove It!
How to Show Your Product Can Succeed

This workshop is designed for start-up companies who are in their initial phase of development and growth.

The workshop will provide you with an understanding of:

- The type of product you have and where it fits in the market
- How to “get your hands dirty” - how to ask the questions and search and collect information in a structured way with purpose and focus
- The role of your stakeholders
- Understanding the benefit and need to have “proof” that your product works to generate interest
- Understanding why different parties will require different things from the product evaluation/market validation
- What’s involved in a product evaluation/market validation

The workshop will be led by Dr Marisa Maio Mackay who is an accomplished and passionate business leader with more than 20 years experience in industry. During this time she has worked in private industry, and for the government and university sectors. Marisa has also played a key role in Australia’s contribution to a European Union Funded Project concerned with the commercialisation of new technologies and has set up, managed and been listed on a number of patents. In addition she has helped establish a number of companies as well as setting up her own consulting business. Her clients have come from a wide-range of industries. Marisa is passionate about helping companies in the early stages of development achieve their potential.
