Set in the St Kilda Botanical Gardens, this guided nature walk is designed to attune your senses and stimulate interest in native animals and birds and their urban habitat.

Get to know the common wildlife residents of these heritage gardens. Listen out for frogs, meet resident turtles, keep your eyes peeled for corellas, butcher birds and frogmouths and observe how nest boxes provide shelter for microbats (pictured), possums and other little critters.

This walk will be guided by keen naturalist Gio Fitzpatrick, who has been recording and monitoring local widlife in Port Phillip for several years. Includes an introductory slide show of stunning photos.
