Join us at Maitland City Library's Look Who's Talking Wellbeing event.

Science is now beginning to provide evidence for what many of us have long known... singing makes you feel good! When was the last time you found yourself singing or humming a song when you were in a bad mood?

Have you ever heard the phrase ‘sing your blues away’? Well, just like exercise, or a good belly laugh, singing releases endorphins into our blood stream that help us feel happy and relaxed, providing a general sense of wellbeing. Come along and find your voice.

Booking prior to event is essential and may be made online at, by phoning 02 4933 6952 or in person at any Maitland City Library branch.
