The Albany Sinfonia, with guest conductor Bruce Herriman, presents a concert which explores a wide range of music from different eras.

From the 16th to the 20th century the programme begins with wind music from the Renaissance. The Baroque period is represented by two much loved string favourites, Bach's Brandenburg Concerto No. 3 and Archangelo Corelli's Christmas Concerto.

The full orchestra performs the romantic and glorious 'Unfinished' 8th Symphony of Schubert followed by the grandeur of Finlandia by Sibelius.

The concert ends with Will Upson’s arrangement of songs made famous by Vera Lynn as the orchestra’s acknowledgment of this special ANZAC year.

Presented by Albany Sinfonia.
