What’s it all about?

Learn the art of the most inspirational public speakers – the craft of storytelling. Never feel caught off guard or feel like you have nothing to say. Alex will share with us techniques that are usually only taught in advanced level public speaking courses! An opportunity not to be missed.

Have you got a story? Do you know something that can make the world a better place, but don’t know how to say it or where to begin? This workshop will set you on the right track to tell your story to a group of one or a group of many. Why? Because it is important and it deserves to be heard!

Learn how to turn any conversation to the topic you want to talk about – learn to do it in a way that doesn’t come cross forced or unnatural. No one will think you have a hidden agenda as the change of subject will be very natural.

All you need to bring with you is a topic – any topic! Health benefits of peanut butter, history of beer or microbes in your belly button. We want to know about it!

What will we cover?
- Strategies to speak on your subject in any environment
- Your life force and your message
- How to understand your audience quickly
- How to connect and how to maintain the connection with people you don’t know
- Storytelling mechanics – how exactly does it work?

You will have an opportunity to speak in the workshop! Embrace it!

After overcoming initial obstacles of standing up in front of a group of people you will discover a world of opportunities. Who knows where this might take you!

Who will be teaching?
Alexander was born in USSR, moved to Australia, married to a Mexican and works for an Italian company along with expatriates from some 20 countries. He has realized that absolute majority of problems that we have to deal with in everyday life, at home and at work, can be boiled down to poor (or non-existent) communication. It is not that people do not want to communicate, it is the fact that quite often even basic communication skill set is absent. President of a Toastmasters Club in Brisbane South, Alex is fervent believer that well expressed story, like a good espresso, can move mountains!

See you at the class!
