Pyjamas In The Daytime is a new work by Newcastle playwright and author Grahame Cooper.

The idea of setting a comedy in a nursing home had been a longstanding notion but to execute it while maintaining respect to the elderly and under-paid workers in aged care took some time - the seed of story coming from his time working in aged care.
Not quite a black comedy, Grahame is calling Pyjamas In The Daytime a 'grey comedy' - a humorous and touching story of life in an aged care facility.

About Footlice
The Company has been in existence for thirty odd years, and one normal year.
In that time, the hundreds of sketches, revues, songs and plays performed have all been original works written by Novocastrians.
To produce original work remains the core philosophy of the company, and we will continue to foster, mentor and encourage new talent in the region by providing a means to develop and produce original works.
