The Australian Museum Science Festival is back in on Saturday August 16! On this day we open our doors to the general public for some good old fashioned family fun! We collaborate with many major scientific bodies and universities to create a diverse, unique and insightful program. Hands-on interactive learning is essential at our festival.

There is always something to do from experiment stations, balloon animals, face painting to science shows, science workshops, competitions and giveaways. We love nature! So this year we have a strong environmental focus, looking at issue like biosecurity, clean oceans and the importance of gardens at home.

This is what’s going on:

- Australian Museum liquid nitrogen show
- 3D printing Tinker Klass by Three Farm
- The Amazing Bubble Show by Bubble07
- Live native animals by Australian Wildlife Displays
- Gardening workshops by Goody Two Shoes
- Under 5’s science room & hands-on experiment room
- Oceans talks and craft by The Ocean Ambassadors
- Tasty Science show by Questacon
- Alchemists and Wizards by The Jollybops Science
