Aly Cook was named New Zealand Female Country Artist of the year in 2012, She has performed regularly in Australia at major festival, set to release her 2nd album "Horseshoe Rodeo Hotel" described as a rich cocoa warm alto in Nashville news recently, Aly will be performing at Lizottes- Dee Why for the first time with the Aly Cook Band & friends including Sydney country rocker Ben Ransom who had his own music on Australian country music charts & award winning duo Neillyrich comprising of multi award winning young kiwi country artist Matthew McNeilly and Amelia Richards who won the Independent country group of the Year last year and have their debut single on the Hot 100 country chart currently .

The theme of the night is "Songs from Down Under", so songs from the artist themselves and each performing hits of their favourite New Zealand & Australian Artists. Cook has sung backing vocals for the likes of NZ Artists like Sharon O'Neill, who also featured on Cook's debut album Brand New Day. Aly Cook has also won and been nominated for numerous awards including New Zealand APRA Country Song of the Year. This performance will be part of Aly Cook's July/August Tour, she is on her way to perform in the Kimberley WA, NSW & QLD including the Gympie Muster with her other group The Sou'Westers.
