The Aussie Alternative Presents!

‘The Aussie Alternative’ brings yet another monumental rock lineup to an excellent Melbourne venue, in early October.

Melbourne alternative rock powerhouses Fading Hour and Lung share headlining duties at Fitzroy’s prestigious Evelyn Hotel on October 3rd, with very able bodied support coming from Arakeye and Shortfall, who are both also launching brand new tunes.

Fading Hour, after rocking audiences across Melbourne and Australia during the mid to late 2000s, have been on extended hiatus. Now they make their triumphant return to the live scene after a three year break, and people coming to this show will see why they have been so badly missed.
Lung released their sensational EP ‘Parasympathy’ in February, with a triumphant, sold out launch at The Evelyn. They now release a second single from that EP, being the title track of the EP, and launch it at The Evelyn this night.

Melbourne heavy act Arakeye have been making waves across the scene for a few years now, and are set to release their powerful new EP ‘March Divisive’. Four piece alternative rock band Shortfall are also releasing a brand new, as yet untitled single. Both bands are launching their brand new material at this very special show.
