More than five years since the onset of the global economic and financial crisis, the world’s economic and business landscape is still showing the impact.

While mature economies are gradually strengthening, emerging markets have seen the end of their recent growth cycle. Despite various economic and growth challenges, business leaders around the world are showing more confidence.

Results from a 2014 survey of more than 1,000 business leaders show that executives are now focused on maximising the growth potential of their companies by building a performance-oriented culture capable of attracting and satisfying customers in the face of stiffening global competition.
