The Australian Ballet presents, The Dancers Company 2014 Tour Classical Triple Bill
The Dancers Company is the regional touring arm of The Australian Ballet, comprising guest artists from The Australian Ballet and graduating students from The Australian Ballet School.
In 2014, The Dancers Company will dazzle Tasmania, Victoria, and Western Australia with a triple bill of ballet gems. The Australian Ballet School will also be celebrating its 50th anniversary - come and join the party!
Swan Lake (ACT III)
Swan Lake is undoubtedly the most beloved ballet of all time, and this traditional version of Act III shows why. The dramatic ball-room scene features Tchaikovsky's iconic score, opulent costumes and the famous Black Swan Pas des deux.

Rimbombo
Simon Dow, ex-principal artist of The Australian Ballet and former Artistic Director of West Australian Ballet created this work especially for The Dancers Company in 2013. Rimbombo, Italian for rumble, is choreographed in a classical style and features the young male dancers of the company, showcasing their athleticism and artistry. It has received rapturous applause and laughter from audiences of all ages.
