Don’t miss the weekly mini-festival of free original live music every Friday at QPAC.

The Seed Project, a collaboration between the Queensland Conservatorium Griffith University (QCGU) and the Queensland Performing Arts Centre (QPAC), has returned to QPAC again this winter.

Held every Friday at 5.30pm on QPAC’s Melbourne Street Green until 22 August, these free original music events will feature funk, folk, pop, blues, rock, soul, country and everything in between.

On Friday 11th July, the line-up includes singer/songwriter Lady Grey, who mixes indie/folk with pop and 90's alternative rock, the Gold Coast’s version of Taylor Swift, Sophie Rose feat Vespyro known for his dynamic and electric instrumentals, and Tom Dodd & Shooty who create a unique sound combining psychedelic rock, indie folk, acoustic, blues and roots.

The unearthed talent is fresh from the QCGU’s Bachelor of Popular Music program and features on the annual Seed compilation available now on iTunes, Amazon and Spotify.

The Seed Project brings audiences the very best in emerging talent direct to the stage, providing a unique opportunity for the artists to share their original music, increase their profile and build a larger presence in the industry.
