Designed by Artistic Director Sarah-Grace Williams who has been delivering Babies Proms at The Sydney Opera House for a number of years, this interactive series invites young audiences and their families to get up close and personal to The Metropolitan Orchestra in a kid-friendly environment. Children can bring their cushions and rugs to these shorter concerts (without interval) in the morning (11am) and early afternoon (1pm) and sit on the floor where they can see, hear and interact with the music and the musicians.

Featuring Prokofiev’s family favourite Peter and the Wolf, this fun and educational family outing will also include an Australian premiere of Harris’ The Unhappy Aardvark, to be performed for the first time with orchestra.

Suitable for all ages, please bring a cushion or rug. There will be two shows, 11am and 1pm. Tickets online.
