Tom West is a songwriter and fingerpicker. His songs are inspired by lost love and getting lost, traversing through very simple folk tunes to grand and moody soundscapes.

After launching his album 'A Spark in the Dark' in August 2013, Adelaide based songwriter Tom West has returned to the studio this May to work on new material.

Whereas on the last occasion West recorded DIY in a shed in the Adelaide Hills, described by TheMusic.com.au as ‘an album worth remembering’ providing ‘more than meets the eye,’ on this occasion he has been working with acclaimed producer and musician, John Castle, in his Melbourne Studios.

Todd Sibbin is a true storyteller. Blending lyrical depth with modern melodic and production values he creates thought-provoking and insightful music packed with rootsy hooks.

Todd Sibbin and The Acadian Driftwood’s new single ‘Blame It On The Aeroplanes’ from the new 10-track LP, ‘A Set Of Knives, A Pair Of Pens’ is fuelled by personal experience. It was written when those around Todd began to move away. Trying to come to terms with the reasons of their leaving and the effect it had on his own thought processes provided the fodder for the single.

The LP is Todd's third release (second full length), but first time with backing band The Acadian Driftwood, with members Joel Crannitch (Leader Cheetah), Kiah Gossner (Bearded Gypsy Band) and Ryan Oliver (Olivers Army) adding a more heavy handedness to what are, at their core, contemporary folk songs. Other notable contributors include Mastering engineer Doug Van Sloun (Bright Eyes, First Aid Kit).
