City of Swan has partnered with FTI to bring the iconic and free Tropfest festival, which attracted a live national audience of over 150,000 last year, to Midland on December 7.

Playing homage to the humble and grassroots history of the event, which began in 1993, the 16 short films will be screened in the carpark on the corner of Cale Street and the Crescent, Midland.

Katy Steele, esteemed songwriter and vocalist from the highly successful band Little Birdy, will perform live, while food vans and a bar will add to the atmosphere of the space.

Doors open at 5pm with Katy Steele performing at 5.30pm prior to the Tropfest screening at 7pm. Keep an eye on the Tropfest Midland Facebook page for further details.
