Meet Trouble. Trouble is a toddler. It’s not his real name. But it’s what everyone calls him. You can guess why.

Meet Mum. It’s not her real name. But it’s what Trouble calls her. You can guess why.

Join us for a fast paced comic adventure where a mother and her toddler provoke, cajole and push each other into an imaginative place beyond the safety of home. Set in the polished nylon world of the 1950's, Mike Kenny's Oliver award-winning play is about comfort, danger, and one little scallywag preparing to explore the world on his own.

Rock Surfers are delighted to present the Australian debut of Trouble alongside Sydney’s most highly regarded independent children’s theatre group, Drop Bear Theatre. The stage will explode with the comic and vocal skills of award-winning cabaret artists Cienda McNamara (Brisbane) and Matthew Barker (Adelaide), with kids and adults alike reveling in original live music that will send Adele and Glasvegas home weeping.

So come on and join in the adventure. Every parent will chuckle knowingly and every child will be sent on a rip-roaring escapade through recognition, fear and delight. And if you're lucky, you might just discover that the big bad world isn’t so bad after all – at least not when you’ve got someone to hold your hand.
