About This Workshop Series

What does it mean to architect information? How can information architects manage complex information across channels and contexts? What is the interplay of information architecture and the other disciplines within user experience? With a significant proportion of our daily business conducted digitally, organising information online to make things easier to find and use is becoming critically important. The variety of devices people use to communicate with one another, searching for information and entertainment, making retail purchases, negotiating business is growing and we require an effective process to capture and leverage this detail.

Join us for this two part complementary series to discover a useful set of tools and frameworks to harness user insight in pursuit of real business goals.

The first workshop will narrow in on outlining user centred design principles and online validation, exploring tools like Treejack and how they can be used to show real world application.

The second session will discuss the importance of paper prototyping followed by a hands-on intro to wireframing and interactive mock-up tool Axure, translating your workshopped ideas into a digital format.
