"Verdun, visions of history" is an epic silent film conceived as a pacifist statement that recreates the 1916 Battle of Verdun, the longest and most devastating battle between France and Germany during World War One. This special screening of the 2006 restoration Leon Poirier's film depicts the horrors of the battlefield.

The film will be shown with live piano accompaniment by acclaimed international composer and pianist Hakim Bentchouala Golobitch.
