Bush regeneration top of the to-do list for students at Terrey Hills school
The German International School Sydney is campaigning for bush regeneration at Waratah Park later this month, with the hope of inspiring the wider community to become educated on the importance of proper bush preservation.  The school wishes to extend the invitation to fellow northern beaches residents to join their students, teachers and families on Sunday, May 25th from10am to 2pm for a day that will not only educate, but provide hands on experience in bush regeneration practices that will greatly benefit the park itself and the environment.
The day itself will involve a welcome overview and tour of the park upon 10am arrival, explanations of bush regeneration principles, hands-on supervised learning during the cleaning/weeding processes, and will finish with a BBQ to thank to all that attend.  It is mandatory that those attending wear long sleeved tops and full length pants, as well as closed footwear on the day.  The day will provide a fantastic social setting to meet like-minded people and creates a positive example for children and students of families attending.
The clean-up bush regeneration day commences at 10am on Sunday the 25th of May, at Waratah Park - Duffy’s Forest, and is anticipated to finish at 2pm.  To attend, please call 9485 1900 or visit http://www.germanschoolsydney.com/
