We Do This is a selfish, moody, joyous, argumentative extravaganza of an indie rock band from Adelaide, South Australia.
Sensation is their new single from debut EP Faraday Wave. A song about coming to terms with the good and bad things that happen in life and owning your part in it, however small or large.
We Do This is made up of one American and one Venezuelan and both have played with other bands ranging from local to major label. They argue like an old married couple when it comes to creating music, but they get along like old friends when it doesn't. Despite disagreeing about most things, what they do agree on is being completely hands-on with We Do This and its music.
Live, the band employs enough fuzz, delays, jagged guitar loops and quirk to bear-hug you into submission. They render songs from the sometimes expansive studio arrangements to a lean 2-piece format. In 2013, We Do This slowly gained community radio play across Australia, with the release of their first singles. In the early part of 2014, the band had songs from their debut EP Faraday Wave added and put into rotation on 95 US and Canadian college and non-commercial radio stations across North America, and reached the top 30 charts on 18 of those stations.
We Do This has embarked on multiple Australian East Coast tours and have a handful of US dates under their belts. With the impending physical release of Faraday Wave they're preparing for further Australian and international touring later in the year.
