Football lovers everywhere will converge to witness 32 teams representing Queensland’s diverse refugee communities tear it up as they run, kick, pass and score for the coveted World Refugee Day Football Tournament Cup.

The qualifying rounds have become a major event in their own right and a highlight on Queensland’s multicultural sporting calendar. This tournament always guarantees a fun and colourful atmosphere with spectators from many cultures, each with their own unique way of supporting their team.

If you are a lover of the world game, no further explanation required - we know you will be there. If you are yet to make the conversion, come and witness why we call it the beautiful game.

The football tournament is an alcohol free event.
