Returning after a Sold Out season at Fringe World 2014 and from a successful Edinburgh Fringe debut;

Four Stars - Edinburgh Evening News, 2014

"Insightful...passionate...compelling." - The Scotsman, 2014

A giant hearted story from a giant-sized storyteller. Allan Girod, not your average six foot nine performer, day dreams his way through getting everything exactly right. Repeatedly setting the bar too high, he trips whilst jumping under it, landing somewhere he never imagined. A touching, true and laugh out loud tale of how an extreme introvert became a performer in Cirque du Soleil.

In the style of New York storytelling phenomenon The Moth, Allan Girod (Barefaced Story Battle Champion 2014) intimately weaves personal foibles and universal encounters to share a mesmerising story that is playful and perpetually surprising. Audience are transported from Perth’s darkest suburbia to wheatbelt isolation to inside the mind of a performer, and to the finale alongside him on a grandiose big top stage.

Sometimes the best place to belong is where the unexpected takes you.
