Barnaby Smith of Sydney duo Telegraph Tower takes his cue from various sources. Immediately noticeable is a debt to folk-influenced artists of the late 1960s, as well as a host of today’s most powerful singer-songwriters. A poetic sensibility combined with intuitive instrumental support serves to produce a sound that is provocative yet pretty.

All of our musicians play from 9am to 12noon and are sponsored by Plateau Dental Care.An absolute favourite at the Alstonville Farmers Market.

The Alstonville Farmers Market presents professional barista Jesspresso coffee, Egyptian, Indonesian, Brazilian and Om Made food, home made condiments and preserves, fresh locally grown fruit and vegetables, home made sourdough breads, South African cakes, fresh Ballina oysters in season, Ghinni Ghi paddock to plate beef, Woofer Treats, Biddy's Buds cut flowers, Sunderenched Seedlings, plants, spun wool and silk, soaps, cosmetics and more.

And every customer gets the chance to go into the draw for a Market Hamper comprising goods donated by all the stallholders. Drawn at 12 noon.

The Alstonville Farmers Market is gatefully supported by Ballina's favourite radio station, Paradise FM 101.9, the best music of all time.
