The National Trust at Runnymede presents an exhibition of classically-themed still life paintings in oils by Deny Christian, celebrating the terrior & produce of Tasmania.

Deny Christian is a nationally acclaimed portrait painter, her Oeuvre including figure and allegorical works, interior genre and still life.

Deny's painting career spans 45 years and began in New Orleans and Paris. Her portraits have been exhibited at The National Portrait Gallery, Canberra; The Australian Museum, Sydney; and The Art Gallery of New South Wales.

Her portrait “Garry McDonald. National Living Treasure” won the Packers Prize of the Archibald Prize, 1999.
