Free Stand Up Comedy, Friday September 9, 7:30pm at Hope Island Tavern!

We can't wait to feature another group of fantastic comedians to Hope Island Tavern for our monthly Friday night comedy show with Based Comedy!

This month featuring Greg Fleet, Lindsay Webb and Dusty Rich!

Greg Fleet has been a staple of Australian comedy since the late 80s. His lengthy list of credits includes a three year stint on Neighbours, Full Frontal, The Comedy Channel's Stand Up Australia!, Underbelly, Spicks and Specks, Rove Live, his hilarious special Thai Die and most recently the film Me and My Mates vs the Zombie Apocalypse alongside Jim Jefferies and Alex Williamson. You've seen him on Melbourne International Comedy Festival Galas, performing all around the country. His incredibly personal memoir entitled These Things Happen released last year to fantastic reviews. He's one of the best comics in the country and we can't wait for him to perform!

Lindsay Webb is hysterical and one of the best comics in the country. Lindsay brings high energy laughter with clever, insightful comedy - he's an award-winning, international act. There's nobody quicker, Lindsay rocks every audience at every show. He's an international act, one of the hardest working in the country and has been featured on Good News Week, The Footy Show, 7Days and plenty more.

Dusty Rich's meteoric rise in the comedy industry is due to the fact he had learnt to ride meteors at a very young age - a mind meteor, smashing through the atmosphere of mediocre and mundane. Each show is unpredictable and hilarious, leaving audiences gasping for air. A true original, his style is manic but impactful. The mystical art of comedy bursts through his veins (and mouth) coupled with his razor sharp wit, taking no prisoners. Dusty Rich is, without question, an unnaturally talented comedic anomaly. Whether he's in a suit and tie, earning that corporate cashola; in a vest and beard rousing everyone at a comedy club, or loud as rock 'n roll in front of five thousand strong, he has to be seen to be believed.

We can't wait for another Friday night of comedy featuring some of the best comedians from around Australia and around the world at Hope Island Tavern! Doors open at 7pm, show starts at 8pm, Friday September 9. We'll see you there!
