Sea Shepherd Adelaide will be conducting a clean up of the beach, while Divers Delight are organising a dive to recover debris from under the jetty and along the coast. We invite families to come for a walk along the beach with us to help clean up the environment to protect local marine life and wildlife and keep our beaches clean for everyone to enjoy. Anyone with diving experience is welcome to join in the Dive Against Debris by registering with Divers Delight.

To protect against injury from collecting rubbish it is advisable that everyone brings protective gloves, or kitchen tongs are a great way of picking up rubbish without having to handle it.

After the clean up we run an education session with the children to talk about the types of rubbish found and impacts on marine life. Activities also including making sand sculptures of marine life and talks on different marine species. Talks are tailored to the age group in attendance on the day.
