Elis Forever is a tribute show by Brazilian band Coisa Linda to celebrate the life and music of Elis Regina in the year of her 70th anniversary. Elis was one of the most popular Brazilian singers and is frequently regarded as the greatest Brazilian singer of all time.

Also known as ‘Pimentinha’ (little pepper) or ‘Furacao’ (hurricane), Elis would deliver perfect renditions of carefully selected songs, where emotion would pour through her voice, touching and captivating millions of fans in Brazil and abroad. Her premature and tragic death, at age 36, left millions of ‘musical orphans’ and still today, her popularity is kept alive through her huge legacy (29 albums recorded in 18 years of career). Her voice still fascinates fans all over the planet.

Coisa Linda, with its sophisticated mix of jazz, samba and bossa nova, will take you on a journey through some of the great songs that highlighted Elis Regina’s career, as well as give you an insight into the life of this vibrant, charismatic and versatile artist, whose unique character and style gave a new definition to the modern Brazilian Popular Music.
