The Mannequint is a farcical black comedy play written by David Todman, directed by Clay English, starring Hamish Nicholson, Noel Thompson, Becky Morgan and David Todman. It is the story of a well-meaning man from a family of compulsive liars must deal with his father and half-brother pretending to be private detectives whilst trying to win back the love of his life who has run off with their wedding photographer.

Quint Frontwip is looking forward to the best day of his life as he prepares for his wedding to the beautiful Amelia. Unfortunately, the confused Irish Priest he hired for the ceremony has other ideas. Now, Quint must win back the love of his life while dealing with a brother he never knew he had and a father under investigation for tax fraud, both of whom have decided that they are in fact private detectives looking to solve any mundane case that comes their way. Things go from bad to worse when Quint’s cat is accidentally killed and his family members become more interested in ‘getting to the bottom of the case’ than providing any real comfort for an already frustrated Quint.
